Yuchen Zhang specialized in wireless communications and signal processing, with expertise spanning 5G/6G technologies, sensing, positioning, and convex optimization. He earned his Ph.D. in 2024 from the University of Electronic Science and Technology of China (UESTC). He has authored over 25 papers, contributed to a book on integrated sensing and communication, and gained both academic and industry experience through international research visits and an internship at Huawei Research Center. His current work under the Global Fellowship aims to advance integrated mobile positioning and communication, a 6G-enabling framework that targets centimeter-level localization alongside ultra-reliable, high-speed connectivity. Furthermore, his research addresses key challenges such as positioning-communication trade-offs, complex propagation environments, and security and privacy considerations. His research supports the development of smart cities, enhanced mobility systems, and digital infrastructure aligned with Saudi Arabia's Vision 2030.
